Letter to the editor;
Preparation for tomorrow necessitates a tax increase
today. That is the message of the
Douglas County Board of Commissioners.
The city councils of Austell, Villa Rica and Douglasville concur. The politicians want more money. What do you want?
For your information: There will be a $166 million tax
vote. This tax vote will be Tuesday, September 18, 2007. You can vote at the courthouse during the
preceding week as well. Please note this
information and use it.
Why do politicians always want tax increases but never tax
decreases?
If you are fed up with high taxes, vote NO to this $166
million tax. You can actually vote not
to tax yourself, and that is mighty sweet.
