About the Douglas County Taxpayers Coalition
Overview

 

DCTC is a project of concerned citizens of Douglas County Georgia. We believe, together we can reduce the tax burden the government has placed upon us. Your participation in the decision making process is crucial to ensure citizens voices are heard.

 
Mission Statement

The Douglas County Taxpayers Coalition (DCTC) is a group of concerned citizens who have vested interest in the affairs of Douglas County Georgia USA.

We believe in fiscal and personal responsibility and resist excessive taxation and spending projects that our citizens can not afford.

We strive to provide the public with current, relevant and accurate information concerning issues of taxation and the operation of government.

We advocate less spending and lower property taxes and that all property should be assessed in an equitable manner so that the tax burden is shared "fairly".

We support open and accessible government and feel the public should be given all opportunities to have input into the policies that affect our lives.

We encourage citizens to register to vote and participate in the electorial process.

We welcome all citizens to join our efforts to ensure our tax dollars are used efficiently.
