My opionion: I like the idea of dropping the income tax for a sales tax. My biggest concern is not how the revenue is collected. My concern is how and when will they cut spending. What difference does it make if they steal the money from your right pocket or left? They simple must cut spending. Then we should address how the money is collected. JB

One guy attending is a "liberal". After the FT guy mentioned the min. $100 "pre-bate" per month ($1200.00 year min for single) he seemed interested. Most low income folks don't spend $100 per month in sales tax.

I see little difference in so called "liberals" and "conseratives" today. Especially with local politicans.
